Hallmark Star Brennan Elliott Mourns the Loss of Wife Camilla Row at 45: “I Will Always Be in Love with You”
Brennan Elliott, known for his roles in Hallmark films and the drama series UnREAL, is grieving the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Camilla Row, who passed away at the age of 45 following a courageous battle with gastric cancer.
In a deeply emotional Instagram post on Saturday, Elliott shared the devastating news with fans and followers. “There is no easy way to say this,” he wrote, “but I know my wife @Camilla_row would have wanted me to thank every person from all over the world who prayed for her over the last eight years.” He revealed that Row endured unimaginable pain during her fight with stage 4 gastric cancer, a diagnosis she received in 2018.
“My heart is shattered,” he continued. “My beloved wife passed away at 5:28 this morning. Our children and I lost our rock—the love of my life, my soulmate, my best friend, my lover. She was the toughest, strongest, most fearless person I have ever known, and the greatest mother to our babies.”
Elliott and Row, a clinical psychologist, were married in September 2011 and share two children, Luna and Liam. While they kept her diagnosis private for years, they publicly shared her health journey in early 2024.
Reflecting on her strength, Elliott expressed, “The pain she endured only I might truly know, but I can assure all who loved her that she is now at peace and no longer suffering. You’re with the Lord now, my queen—you are free. Heaven is a better place with you in it.”

He continued, “Thank you for being the best wife, mother, and friend I’ve ever known. What you gave to the gastric cancer community was beyond measure, but what you gave me as a man will stay with me forever. I love you, I am in love with you, and I will always be in love with you.”
With heartfelt words, Elliott concluded, “I know you’re dancing now, on a heavenly vacation, free from cancer’s grip. When the Lord calls me home, we’ll be together again—and we’ll dance. I’ll always be your hot mess. Missing you on this earth forever, but I’ll see you soon.”
Friends, fans, and fellow actors offered their support in response to the heartbreaking post.
“Mate, sending you and the family all the love & strength there is in the world,” wrote Hallmark colleague Will Kemp. “My arms are flying across seas to hug you tight, my friend.”
Actor Adam Demos, who starred alongside Elliott in UnREAL, commented, “My man, I’m so, so, so sorry. Sending you and the family so much love!”
Cameron Mathison shared, “Your post brought me to tears. We’ve talked many times through her journey, and I just love you all so much. I’m so, so sorry for your loss—may her beautiful memory live on in your hearts forever.”
In the final year of her life, Row took to social media to openly share her experience with gastric cancer, becoming an advocate and source of hope for others facing similar battles. Speaking with Today in February 2024, she said, “If I have limited time, I’m going to make my time worth it and count. Knowing that I can make a difference really helps me feel like my disease is not in vain.”
