The AC Monza Team Football Lega Serie A
For the 2017/2018 season, AC Monza has signed a team football deal with Lega Serie A side Torino. This will mark the club’s first foray into top-flight Italian football and they will play their home matches at the Stadio Olimpico.
The team is made up of players from both AC Monza’s youth academy and their senior squad, with Alejandro Gómez (defender), Daniel Lamb (midfielder), Andrea Petagna (attacker) and Riccardo Meggiorini (striker) being the key signings. Manager Marco Fantauro is looking forward to taking on the division: “I am extremely happy to have joined this historic club and to be able to compete in Serie A. AC Monza is one of Italy’s most respected clubs, with a long history in European competition so I am confident that we can achieve great things together.”
