Tori Spelling Opens Up About Brian Austin Green’s Advice on Dancing With the Stars
Tori Spelling shared that Brian Austin Green was her sole confidant when deciding to join the upcoming 33rd season of Dancing With the Stars. The actress recounted Green’s enthusiastic response when she sought his opinion, saying he told her, “It’s grueling. It’s hard work. It’s gonna be one of the best experiences of your life.”
Green, who competed in season 30 of the show and placed 13th with his partner, now-fiancée Sharna Burgess, was the only Beverly Hills, 90210 cast member Spelling consulted before making her decision. She remembered reaching out to him, saying, “I called him, and I was like, ‘Okay, what do you think?’ And he was like — in his words — ‘abso-f—ing-lutely.’”
Before Green, several of Spelling’s former castmates, including Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, and the late Shannen Doherty, had participated in the show.
Spelling also mentioned that she was in touch with Green the night before the cast announcement on Good Morning America. “I was like, ‘Tomorrow’s the day. Everyone’s gonna know,’” she said. Green reassured her, “This is gonna be such an amazing experience for you, and I’m really proud of you.”
In addition to Green’s advice, Spelling sought guidance from Sharna Burgess, a pro dancer with 14 seasons on the show. “Sharna and I are good friends,” Spelling explained. “I asked her to break down what I can and can’t do, and she recommended Pasha Pashkov as the best fit for me.”
As it turns out, Pashkov was indeed revealed…
