Chicago Fire Season Premiere Recap
The Chicago Fire season premiere was an exciting event for fans of the show. The movie followed the same storyline as the TV series, but with a few new twists.
After a long winter, the firefighters of Chicago are back at work fighting fires. Captain Kelly is back in charge, and he’s not happy about it. He’s been passed over for promotion again and again.
Meanwhile, Severide is trying to get his life together. He’s still dealing with PTSD from his time in Afghanistan, and he’s not sure how to deal with his feelings. He also has to keep up the facade of being captain material while he’s hiding his true identity as a firefighter.
One of the new firefighters on the squad is Kirsten Casey (played by Jesse Spencer). She’s an experienced paramedic who is trying to adjust to working in a firehouse again. Kirsten clashes with Kelly from the beginning, but they eventually become friends.
The team is forced to take on a huge blaze at a warehouse, and they’re barely able to contain it. It turns out that this isn’t just any ordinary fire; it’s connected to a series of other blazes that have been happening throughout the city.
The detectives investigating these fires are looking for someone called “the pyro,” and they believe that Kelly may be related to him somehow. They bring in Kelly for questioning, but he manages to escape before they can question him further.
