The 2019 NFL Draft was held from April 25 to 27 in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Kansas City Chiefs selected eight players in the 2019 NFL Draft. With their first pick in the draft, the Chiefs selected edge rusher Clelin Ferrell out of Clemson with the fourth overall pick. The Chiefs also drafted defensive lineman Chris Lindstrom out of Boston College with their second first-round pick, 14th overall.

In the second round, the Chiefs drafted cornerback Juan Thornhill out of Virginia with the 63rd overall pick. With their third and final pick in the second round, Kansas City selected wide receiver Mecole Hardman out of Georgia with the 56th overall pick.

In the third round, Kansas City finally addressed their offensive line needs by drafting offensive tackle Mitch Hyatt out of Clemson with the 86th overall pick. The Chiefs also drafted linebacker Ben Niemann out of Iowa and running back Darwin Thompson out of Utah State in the sixth round.

The Chiefs wrapped up their 2019 NFL Draft class by selecting tight end David Wells out of San Diego State and guard Nick Allegretti out of Illinois in the seventh round.

2020 NFL Mock Draft for the Kansas City Chiefs

With the 2020 NFL Draft just around the corner, it’s time to take a look at who the Kansas City Chiefs could be targeting. With needs on both sides of the ball, the Chiefs could go in a number of different directions with their first-round pick.
