The history of the band Kiss
The band Kiss was formed in New York City in 1973 by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The original lineup of the band also included drummer Peter Criss and guitarist Ace Frehley. Kiss released their self-titled debut album in 1974, which was followed by a number of successful albums including “Alive!”, “Destroyer” and “Love Gun”. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Simmons and Stanley remaining as the only constant members. Kiss was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
