Since 1984, the Jets have appeared in the playoffs 13 times, and played in two AFC Championship Games: 1998 and 2009 led by Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Namath and head coach Weeb Ewbank, respectively. However, they have never returned to Super Bowl glory since their victory at Super Bowl III 43 years ago.
