The Newcastle United Premier League Football Team Tumbler Cup is a annual cup competition organized by the Newcastle United Supporters Club. The competition was first held in 2002 and is open to all Premier League football teams based in the North East of England. The cup is contested by the winners of each of the league’s regional cups, which are: North East Counties Cup, Tyne-Wear derby Shield, Durham County FA Senior Cup and North East Youth Alliance Cup.

The competition features a single-elimination knock-out stage. The first round consists of ties between the clubs who finished in ninth, tenth and eleventh place in the league table at the end of the previous season. These ties are played over two legs on a home-and-away basis. If one team wins both legs then they progress to the next round; if neither team wins both legs then a play-off match is played at neutral ground between the two teams who finished level on points after the regular season.

The second round sees the top four clubs from the league table enter this round; these are joined by the club who finished fifth from among those clubs who did not enter into either of the previous rounds. These six teams compete in two groups of three with each club playing each other once home and once away. The top two clubs from each group progress to the semi-finals while third and fourth place go into what is effectively a quarter final tie.
