Sutton United, a club located in South London, is known for being one of the most historic and traditional teams in England. The team has a long-standing rivalry with another club in the area, Wimbledon, which was only intensified when Wimbledon announced their plans to move to Milton Keynes. In order to show their support for the team, several local businesses decided to create a special edition EFL Championship carpet rug. The rug was designed to look like the club’s badge and was made by a company called Carpetright. It is currently being sold for £24.99 and is available in two different sizes.

The Sutton United EFL Carpet Rug is a 8×10 area rug meant for indoor use only. It is made of 100% polyester and has a textured surface. The backing is made of latex and the rug has a 1/4″ thick pile. The design of the rug is a replica of the playing surface at Gander Green Lane, home of Sutton United Football Club. The colors are those of Sutton United’s home kit: red, white, and blue.

The Sutton United EFL Carpet Rug was made using a tufting process that involves needle punching the design into the backing material. This results in a looped pile surface that is then sheared to create an even, level surface. The yarn used for the pile is a polypropylene/nylon blend, which is resistant to wear and tear and easy to clean.
