The United States of Cremonese is a football team that competes in Lega Serie A. The club was founded in 1924 and played its first ever game in the Lombardy-Venetia League. They have been a part of Serie A since the clubs inception, and have never finished lower than sixth place. In the 2016-2017 season, the Cremonese finished in eleventh place with forty points, just one point ahead of Reggina Calcio.
The team plays its home games at the Stadio Comunale di Cremone. The stadium has a capacity of 4,000 fans and was originally built for use by association football club A.S. Roma. It underwent renovations between 2009 and 2011 in order to bring it up to current league standards.
The United States of Cremonese play their home games in green and white jerseys with a black crest on the front. They are currently managed by Giancarlo Abete who took over from Nicola Salerno after the latter resigned following the clubs relegation from Serie A in 2016-17 season..

U.S. Cremonese is a football team from the city of Cremone, in the province of Reggio Calabria, southern Italy. The team competes in Lega Serie A, the top flight of Italian football. Founded in 1949, the club has played in the Italian top flight for all but one season since its inception.
Cremonese’s first season back in Serie A was 2009-10 and they finished 9th out of 20 clubs with 37 points. In 2010-11, they improved to 5th place with 56 points and qualified for European competition for the first time ever. In their first season in Europe, they reached the knock-out stages of the Europa League before being knocked out by Dutch side AZ Alkmaar 5–2 on aggregate.
In 2013-14, Cremonese finished 4th with 84 points and qualified for Europe once again – this time for the Champions League where they were drawn against Ukrainian champions FC Shakhtar Donetsk; however Shakhtar Dinamo won 3–1 on aggregate to progress to the next round where they were defeated by Barcelona 3–0 on aggregate.
In 2014-15, Cremonese finished 2nd behind Juventus with 102 points and both teams qualified for Europe once more – this time for the UEFA Champions League where they were drawn against Dutch
