Third and Final Season of Bosch: Legacy Set for 2025: ‘Harry Bosch Will Return!’
The saga of Harry Bosch is coming to a close with the announcement of the third and final season of Bosch: Legacy, set to premiere in March 2025. Author Michael Connelly, who serves as an executive producer and is the author of the novels that inspired the series, shared the news on social media, expressing his excitement about the upcoming season and hinting at future developments.
In his post, Connelly praised Titus Welliver’s portrayal of Bosch, saying, “I’m thrilled to announce that the third season of Bosch: Legacy will premiere on Prime Video in March. It’s shaping up to be our best season yet. While this will be the final chapter for Bosch, don’t worry — we’re already working on the Renée Ballard series. If you’re familiar with my books, you know this isn’t the last you’ll see of Harry Bosch!”
The current Bosch series, which continues the story of the Los Angeles detective, originally aired from 2014 to 2021. In Bosch: Legacy, the character, now retired from the LAPD, has transitioned to private investigation. Alongside Welliver, the series features Mimi Rogers as defense attorney Honey Chandler and Madison Lintz as Bosch’s adult daughter, Maddie, who is a police officer herself.
Connelly’s new series, centered around fictional cold case detective Renée Ballard, will star Maggie Q in the lead role. Harry Bosch is expected to make an appearance in this upcoming series, which is slated for release in late 2025.
